Semi-wide leg trousers with elastic waistband for a comfortable fit.
A medium weight linen is a good, sustainable choice of fabric and is perfect for warmer weather and beach wear. Team with a loose flowing open front top and a camisole underneath for those walks along the beach.
There is an option to make the elastic opening in the front as a tie opening for something a bit trendier and to sit lower on the hip if preferred.
The elastic waist has the same construction as the Natalie skirt, with medium weight linen, which allows for a relaxed fit and no need for zips or button/buttonholes for the novice sewer.
This pant is so versatile and can be used with linen, silk, cotton or viscose. Why not reuse the pattern to make pj pants from brushed cotton, or even use silk to make summer lounge pants.
